Mandai

The film is about impressions of Mandai- the vibrant marketplace in the heart of Pune city; home and workplace to a many people selling a considerable variety of goods. The film shows their life set in the atmosphere of the market for an entire day from early morning to late at night. A brief trip to the malls in the city highlights the contrasting ways of Life and Livelihood, Selling and Shopping prevalent in the city and everywhere in India today.
