Electric Ecology under the stars. A free concert on the East Side of Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia, on the 3rd of May 2010 by Joshua Santospirito (known as "Drive West Today"), fully improvised for a small audience sitting in the dirt staring up at the stars. I lived in Alice Springs for 3 years, working in and around the central australian capital. It has a very special place in my personal history and it's incessantly difficult issues has been a great source of inspiration and learning for me. One year previous, a week or so after the first Wide Open Space festival at Ross River near Alice, I played a concert in the Goyder Lane - Acoustic Ecology. Very successful and incredibly atmospheric, the people who attended all enjoyed the space that was created under that vast sky of stars. This is the second concert by DWT in that space one year on, equally atmospheric but with a slightly more science fiction edge to it.
