Hehe (installation)

He/hehe. installation. 2015 He/hehe is an interactive video installation. The work utilizes the ubiquitous no-signal blue of the screen to create an environment that is at once manic and calming. The word "he" is repeated over and over, oscillating between never ending laughter and obsessive recitation of the male pronoun. It is a constant stream of indeterminate information, creating an immersive yet unsettling environment. Participants are visually consumed by the installation as they move through it both as viewers and as bodily screens.
