THE FIGHT (La Pelea)

Adolfo Doring's film of his (with the help of others) psychology experiment from 11th grade, for Mr. Babcock's class. In this experiment the entire school (less a handfull, including Mr. Pineda and Mr. Blom) were lead to believe that Rafael Jaber and Pablo Arizmendi, who were best friends and Tae Kwon Do black belts, were going to fight over Lisa Fuentes (then Pablo's girlfriend). In the first scene and through the day, Lisa was standing under Rafael's arm in the smoking lounge. At lunch time Pablo shows up and the confrontation between them sets the stage for the main event at 2:30. Adolfo shot the set up and resolution from behind the black curtains of the second floor science lounge and the external stairway of the third floor auditorium. Other participants in the experiment were, Pedro Diaz (to break up the fight) , Arturo Hanson (to spread rumors and point out Rafael and Lisa hanging out) and Emilio Zebadua (to spread rumors).
