A dive on the purpose-scuttled wreck Ex-HMAS Adelaide, off Avoca Beach, New South Wales Australia. Down only 10 months, the ship is already well on the way to becoming an attractive artificial reef. Dive details: maximum depth 35m, time on wreck 68 mins, total dive time including decompression 91 mins. Visibility a gritty 10m, with lots of particulate and percolation, water temperature at the bottom 14 degrees centigrade. Reasonably flat seas, but strong surge at some points inside the wreck - check out the drunken sailors walk through the engine room at 0:55. Shot with a Sony NEX-5n, 16mm lens and VLC-ECU1 ultra wide adapter, in a Nauticam NA-NEX5n housing with a Mangrove VC-4L6 light.
