MyStory - When I Smile, I feel

I record little video messages like this because I struggle to articulate things in writing and as I watched this, I saw a glimpse of what others see (yes, including the food in between my teeth �) I smile like this: 1. when I play sport 2. am being active or 3. am in a social settings where I feel like I belong, can belong, am part of something or made to feel included and valued. Give me all of the above in 1 and I am high on life! Truth is. This is a rare moment. This is a rare opportunity in which provided these moments and this is not how I look, feel or present 95% of my life. But this is what most people see 80% of the time they see me.... if they only see me in these 3 settings. When I watch this, I don't recognise the girl smiling so much in the video. My eyes are smiling, my whole body is smiling and in those moments, I look happy, I am feeling good and I have found joy in that moment. The rest of the time, I struggle to remember these moments actually exist and I struggle to see more of them ahead. The possibility of ever having a life where these moments aren't an outcome or goal and are freely achieved by just waking up and just being me..... is something I rarely see being a possibility or a reality. #StaySilentLipReaders
