Virginia’s Radford University recently got an earful when reports started to flood in about a neglected letter I in the spelling of Virginia and a missing e in thereto.
Many members of the class of 2013 are a bit riled up.
Phone calls, tweets, and Facebook posts by the affected were followed by stories about the mishap on several national news outlets.
The university apologized for the error and promised to fix and reissue the documents.
Officials explained that the diploma printing system had been replaced and when the text was rekeyed the error occurred.
Regardless of the typos on their diplomas, their education is still solid choice.
The National Council on Teacher Quality recently gave three out of four stars to select programs offered by the university.
