The game setting and design are all pretty standard fantasy stuff that we’ve seen a hundred of times in other games like this. You need to protect a castle from an onslaught of different monsters, who willingly go under you arrows and swords, if it means getting a chance at stabbing your surprisingly brittle walls.
I’m actually a little bit confused about this game’s title, which led me to think that I was going to, you know, hunt dragons, but regardless of that, Dragon Hunter: Defense is quite alright. Unlike most of the other one-dimensional strategies, you don’t play as a hero, personally bashing the monster son the frontlines, but as an overpowered arrow turret, on top of the castle, shooting everything that comes close to it.
