Sant Joan Despí (Spain), Aug 14 (EFE).- F.C. Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who is currently recovering from a sprained ankle, rejoined the team for a regular training session on Wednesday whilst Lionel Messi was forced to work separately due to problems in his left quad.
The Argentine player had been training with his national team for an upcoming friendly against Italy but was deemed unfit to play after a routine check-up which led to his early return to Barcelona.
The star is currently training hard to recover in time for Barça's league debut against Levante.
