Police arrest all five gang rape suspects

One of five men suspected of gang raping a photojournalist in India is taken into police custody.

After one arrest in Mumbai and another in Delhi Sunday, Indian authorities say they now have all the suspects in custody.

The 22-year-old victim was attacked Thursday while on assignment at this abandoned textile mill in Mumbai.

According to local media, the attackers threatened to slash her with a broken bottle and reveal her identity if she reported the rape.

The mother of one suspect defended her son, but said he should be punished if he participated in the assault.

"My son is innocent, but if he has committed a crime or not, only he and the other four boys can say.''

Police said they would push for a speedy prosecution.
