Sonakshi Sinha In Ekta Kapoor's Khudgarz Sequel ?

Bollywood's new trend has recently set in with the reprises and sequels! Having already witnessed several takes on this new found genre seems like its Ekta Kapoor's turn to join the league now and this time, it's yet again with her leading lady, Sonakshi Sinha.

Reportedly, Sonakshi Sinha recently suggested to attempt a remake or a sequel of 1987 hit, 'Khudgarz,' when she was asked to pick up a movie that had her father, Shatrugan Sinha in it. Moreover, Ekta also agreed with this idea and claimed to produce this remake as the original flick also had her father, Jeetendra in it.

As we know, 'Khudgarz' was based on Jeffrey Archer novel, 'Kane And Abel,' and further we also learnt that, the author had come up with a second edition to her book with the story of lead's daughter, in this sequel.

Well, with the script, female lead and the producer ready, is it a sequel to 'Khudgarz' this time?
