STORY: Scottish cashmere and Nottingham lace were brought together on Monday (September 16) as British fashion giant Burberry showcased its Spring/Summer collection for 2014 at London Fashion Week. Mixing craft, gentleness and romance and marrying the themes with high technology, the show brought together an idea of an English rose garden, spiking red roses in amongst softer, dusty colours on the catwalk. Harry Styles, Naomie Harris, Sienna Miller, Hayley Atwell and Anna Wintour were all among attendees at the show, held in a glass-roofed box. Leaves were dropped onto the catwalk and front row of spectators at the show's culmination, after which Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey said the show tried to show he lived with his eyes open. Founded in 1856, Burberry describes itself as the world's leading digital luxury brand.
