McDonald's manager Felix Becerra-Gonzalez in Oakland robs his own restaurant

Felix Becerra-Gonzalez, an Oakland man, is accused of robbing at gunpoint two McDonald's restaurant where he worked as a manager.

The accused, the 42-year-old Becerra-Gonzalez, drove to two McDonald's locations at about 3am and forced employees into the walk-in freezer before demanding cash. He appeared at the restaurants wielding a handgun, white-cloth gloves and a white full-face mask.

The robber entered the restaurant on Aug 28 and also forced employees into a freezer at gunpoint. He ordered one of the employees to open a safe, and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, San Mateo police Sgt. David Norris told local media.

Police broadcasted a description of the robber and on Sept 2 arrested a suspect driving a dark-colored Chrysler PT Cruiser.
Officers followed the vehicle and pulled over Becerra on Interstate Highway 880 in San Leandro. At that point, police found out that Becerra-Gonzalez was the manager of the McDonald's that was robbed.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
