A possible candidate to takeover dirty old San Diego mayor Bob Filner has been seen openly masturbating in restrooms several times, according to investigative website VoiceOfOC.org.
According to the site, when Republican candidate Carl DeMaio was in the City Council, he would allegedly leave during meetings to go spank it in the men's bathroom, former City Council president Ben Hueso said.
Hueso, who is now a Democratic state senator, said he saw DeMaio handling himself twice, but others suspect his work time hobby was more frequent. Hueso said that he walked into the men's bathroom some time in 2009 and noticed DeMaio standing in front of the urinal with his trousers down around his ankles.
"DeMaio was masturbating," Hueso told the side. "He jumped, caught by surprise. He jumped to the sink ... saying 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry' about side times. Then he washed his hands, darted out."
Marti Emerald, a City Councilwoman, confirmed the story, saying that she ran into Hueso right after the supposed stroking of his salami. "Ben was in a state of shock, face red, eyes bulging," Emerald said. "I said: 'You look like you just saw the devil?' He said: 'DeMai is masturbating in the middle of the room.'"
DeMaio spokesman Dave McCulloch has denied the allegations. DeMaio is currently running for Congress, but his name has also been brought up as a possible successor to Filner. Before Filner's resignation, McCulloch has said that DeMaio is only running for the House seat and had no further information about his future plans. Filner officially stepped down last Friday after being accused of sexually harassing a ton of people.
