Stalker sends dead cockroaches to victim

A Japanese man accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend mailed an envelope containing dead cockroaches to a member of the woman's family.

For the past two months the 43-year-old man had sent numerous letters to his ex-girlfriend's 42-year-old sister and her daughter. Each had enclosed a dead cockroach.

The man was dumped by his girlfriend in May. She refused his repeated attempts to reconcile after the split.

The man was arrested on suspicion of stalking. He has denied sending the letters.
