Eight people were injured in a roadside fight in Taiwan's Taoyuan County on Sunday morning in what witnesses thought at first was filming for a movie.
According to police, the injured are all members of a club affiliated with a car remodelling shop in Taoyuan County's Bade City. That day about 20 people left Taoyuan County on 10 scooters and headed toward Yangmingshan National Park.
While they were passing through Xinxhuang a man holding flares blocked the road and threw flares at the bikers. Cars then came out of no where and crashed into the first three bikers. More men showed up with iron bars and sickles and started hitting and slashing the three bikers on the ground.
The remaining bikers quickly turned and fled. The ambushers gave chase and slashed some of them.
Many witnesses thought a movie was being filmed.
