Police Swoop to End Standoff Outside NSW Parliament

Riot police used tear gas and a crowbar to apprehend a man and end a dramatic standoff outside the New South Wales Parliament on Friday, December 20. The man had pulled up a white car on to a footpath and demanded that Premier Barry O’Farrell leave the building.
