Mumbai: Around 4,000 resident doctors across Maharashtra are threatening a strike to protest against the manhandling of a fellow resident doctor in Solapur Medical College by some policemen. The doctors have demanded immediate suspension of the accused policemen. In the CCTV footage a senior police inspector is seen slapping and grabbing a junior doctor by the neck.The police claim the young surgeon Prashant Patil refused to conduct urgent delivery of a pregnant woman.
