A new and modern speaker system recently appeared on Indiegogo. Called AudioOrbs, its a transparent sphere aimed to give music lovers complete isolation and comfort.
After a long stressful day, one of the best cures to loosen up is to take a few minutes for yourself and listen to tunes. A new speaker system provides a highly immersive experience.
Called AudioOrbs, its a transparent sphere aimed to give music lovers complete isolation. It contains 18 internal speakers, as part of the intricate sound system.
There is also an emphasis on comfort. Inside the orb are body adjusting, Temper pillows which are arranged to form a lounging area.
Derived from Plexiglas, anyone inside the orb can view their surroundings while still being in their own little ball…literally.
The designers noted “Spherical spaces almost completely block the noise from the outside world. This was our starting point when we developed the AudioOrbs.…. Inside the Orb the outside world fades away, ideal for relaxation. ”
Thus far, two units are scheduled for production and according to ST, they may be the only two to ever be created. The price is listed as 15 grand apiece.
