Monsoon Rains Flood Parts of Jakarta

Heavy monsoon rains falling for the last two days have caused flash floods across large swathes of Jakarta, Indonesia. It’s the second time in ten days that flooding has hit the oceanside city, which is home to 10 million people. Monsoon rains have reportedly killed up to seven people in accidents related to flooding, and forced up to 30,000 people to evacuate their homes.
