Bloody Cop Kills: Training Day

If ever there was a cop that had it coming, it was Alonzo Harris. The character, so brilliantly played by Denzel Washington in the 2001 thriller, pretty much does everything he can to make sure that his pockets are lined and that his job his protected. Between setting up his partner for death, abandoning his team and using innocents as human shields, Alonzo deserves what he gets. So when the Russian mob finally catches up to him and fills his body with enough bullets to fill a shipping container, we can;t help but grin. That, however, does not change the fact the the bloodletting is vicious and violent as his body gets torn to bits. Warranted, but quite over-the-top.
