George W. Bush reportedly painted the portraits of around 30 various world leaders based on the first headshot that pops up from a Google image search of their names, or images of them from their biographical Wikipedia page.

A few of the global political leaders featured in the solo exhibit include Russian President Vladimir Putin, Israeli president Ehud Olmert, President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai, and the Dalai Lama.

Some of the paintings are displayed next to personal objects that were given as gifts to the 43rd president while he was in office, and pictures of when he met the subjects of his portraits.

Media attention is focused on the artistic choices and insight of the former president who met the key figures in current world politics.

Bush chose to use the most easily accessible images of the subjects that he had met in person, while still trying to capture an aspect of their personality from his perspective.
