A Chinese woman who hadn't been seen in a month was found dead in her apartment on Tuesday.
The body of the 27-year-old woman, who had been having problems with her boyfriend, was discovered inside a closet in the apartment. Her starving dog had defecated and urinated throughout the flat.
The woman's landlord had tried to contact her for a month but received no response. When the landlord visited the flat and knocked the door, no one answered, but the dog barked. The landlord later returned with her son and a new tenant, only to find the woman's body and her dog alive inside.
Local police say they conducting an investigation.
