George Zimmerman arrested for allegedly pulling shotgun on girlfriend

George Zimmerman was arrested on Monday after he allegedly cocked and pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe, shattered a glass-top table, then pushed her out of the residence and barricaded himself inside after she told him to move out, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said.

Zimmerman, 30, surrendered peacefully and was arrested at about 1 pm before being taken to jail. He was booked for aggravated assault with a weapon, a felony, as well as misdemeanor battery-domestic violence and criminal mischief. Scheibe was uninjured.

This is the second time in three months Zimmerman has been handcuffed after being accused of domestic violence and threatening a woman with a gun.

"I need police right now," Scheibe said in her 911 call to authorities. "He's in my house breaking all my (stuff) because I asked him to leave. He has his fricking gun breaking all of my stuff right now," she said. Then she apparently turned to Zimmerman and said, "This is not your house. Get out of my house, Do not push me out of my house."

After Scheibe said she was going to call the police, Zimmerman then pointed the shotgun at Scheibe for a minute and asked her if she really wanted to do that, according to the arrest report.

Zimmerman then smashed a glass table with the butt of his shotgun and pushed Scheibe out of the house before locking the door. He then barricaded the door with furniture.

When police entered the house around 1pm, Zimmerman was unarmed.
