Aashiqui 2 Singer Ankit Tiwari Arrested On Rape Charges

Singer Ankit Tiwari, who rose to fame with his blockbuster hit song 'Sun Raha Hai Na' from 'Aashiqui 2, has been reportedly arrested by the Mumbai police on rape charges. What's more? The singer's brother Ankur Tiwari too has been arrested for threatening the victim. Now this is something SHOCKING to hear!
Reports suggest that the victim is Ankit's 28-years old girlfriend, who is an event management professional and singer apparently decided not to marry despite promising to marry her.
According to police officials, they quoted that the incident happened late last night, where the singer came to meet the girl at her sister's home when she was alone, and allegedly raped her.
Well, this news again reminded us the bad and cruel of part of Bollywood! Sigh! We hope it ends soon!
