Gunfire in the streets of Rio de Janeiro

Dozens of armed police in the favela complex with residents running to safety as gun-shots rang out across the neighbourhood. At least one person was killed and another injured during a shoot-out between police and suspected drug traffickers in the Alemao complex of favelas in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday night.
