Starbucks Wants to Get You Drunk! - Food Feeder

2014-07-22 56 Dailymotion

If you love Starbucks for it's so-so coffee and mediocre ambiance, good news! You'll soon be able to drink alcohol there as well! Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Z7lbS

Starbucks has decided to expand its Evening menu from 40 stores to thousands. For those who aren't familiar with the Starbucks Evening menu, well, there's alcohol. Also, insipid additions to the food menu, like bacon-wrapped dates, and truffle mac 'n cheese. These things may sound gourmet, but before you get excited, remember most Starbucks have just a glorified toaster oven on site. Yeah.

Over in Japan (of course), Starbucks is mixing things up another way, by adding lemon flavor to its coffee drinks. Lemon and coffee don't seem like the most natural flavor combination to us here at the Food Feeder, but we thought the same about apple-flavored Kit Kats, and you can see how that went here: http://goo.gl/MihttO

Speaking of weird Japanese Kit Kat innovations (and aren't we ALWAYS speaking of weird Japanese Kit Kat innovations) - there's now a bake able Kit-Kat being sold in Japan: http://goo.gl/hZ8Mik

Have you had the opportunity to sample the Starbucks After hours menu in select cities here in the U.S.? What about the Creamy Vanilla Latte with Lemony Swirl over in Japan? Have you tried to bake your own Kit Kat at home? How'd that go? What weird new food innovation do you think we'll see out of Japan next?
