My guardian angel's name is Gismo
He's bright shining as the sun
I talk to him all the time
and I do it just for fun
I named him G.i.s.m.o because he's mine
And I think that name is really fine
He is a faithful guardian angel
and watches over me
with tender care and love
A very special angel
sent down to me, by my Father
who lives in heaven above
Gismo is not a perfect name
for a guardian angel you see
But it is the best one
that I can come up with
and it fits him like a 'T'
Then again, maybe I should
not refer to him simply as a he
Angels come and angels go
as bright angels there may be
And it's likely that 'Gismo'
could really be a she
But he or she
I love my guardian angel
and I think the name does fit
So in the future I will refer to
'My Gismo' as an 'It'
