Jackie Kirby - Shes in darkness

She sits in the darkness of the night.
alone.For she knows this was the way,
it was ment to be.
So many pieces of her heart had she,
given away.
There was only a tiny piece left.
the abuse and cruelty she had,
endured.Over the years.
All the tears that had fallen,
from her eyes.
She would hide in the darkness,
so no one could see.
The pain she held inside.
Men she loved only used her,
each time you love someone you,
give a part of your self you can,
never get back.Now in the darkness,
of the night, She wakes from dreams,
of the hurtfull past.
Tears fill her eyes as she shakes with,
fear.Of things that can never be forgotten.
She sits up in bed holding a pillow close,
and tight.She asks God as she wipes the,
tears from her eyes, God you made me,
who i am.And i have survied all things.
And i have forgiven all.But i still cant,
forget.I know i will never have true love,
But it would be nice, If you could send,
me one of your angels from above,
To share the darkness of the night.
I feel much better now for i know
im never really alone.Because you are,
always by my side.
I just wanta be loved like i can give love.
