again i'm on the certain people
full of negnativity
and hubris
they burrow into the soul
i fall for it like gravity
it's a weakness that i have no answer
or solution
my defense is to block out all of humanity
which robs both myself and the shining spirits
of sharing the beauty in this world
their souls so petty and common
like pebbles in the sunlight
yet their shadows always seem to shade my light
they seem to be happy in their obstruction
then again i never have to worry about sunblock
