There was a family I seemed to recall
Who had two children, boy and girl
There was nothing more that these parents loved
Than these children in this world
On a cozy warm summer
This family had a holiday
But halfway on the highway road
The kids decided to stop and play
The kids wanted to play tag
To them it was still fun
So the parents decided to burn up some beers
Under the warm summer sun
After the kids had finished their game
They decided to hit the road
The father, tired and drowsy
Drove with a heavy load
Seeing upon an oncoming truck
The father panicked and swerved the car
It collided with an oil tank instead
And left the family many dreadful scars
Not long after, the vehicles exploded
Leaving the five victims to their death
Blazing flames, shattered glasses
And five dead bodies had been left
Do not ever drink and drive
We may lose those dearest to our hearts
For a shameful and irresponsible act
May leave two ends apart
