Vincent its who I am
a messed up 37 year old shell of a man
but I try oh how I try to walk with my head up
but only see my shoes
this is Vincent
its who I am.

I act like a clown to mask my tears
underneath I am screaming
ripping at my own soul
just wanting to be understood
this is Vincent
its who I am

I have made mistakes like everyone else
but I cant let them go
the wreakage of my past keeps slapping me up side the head
it just wont leave me alone
this is Vincent
its who I am

Theres hope I see it not often but I do
I look at my youngest son
my greatest work
and I can smile
this is Vincent
its who I am

I have broken many bones
and run rough shot thorugh life
from adventure after adventure
watched freinds come in and out of my life
like a revoling door and spilled more tears than you can imagen
this is Vincent its who I am

A strange thing happened a few weeks back when
I stop and smelled a flower and was refreshed
life can be beautiful it really can be
we all just have to stop and remember that every once in awhile
I did and I smiled you know why
because this is Vincent
its who I am
