Poet of the River - Shimmering Sea of Questions. (funny)

Lost in the ocean of shimmering water.
Stuck in my tiny canoe.
The evenings continue to get hotter and hotter.
And I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Id raise my sail to the wind,
but I haven't got one.
Id use my paddles but they've started to bend.
Id wait for help,
For someone to save me.
But I know no one will come.
And if they do they may be pirates,
How do I know the flag witch they come?
I am certainly no fool!
So you know what I'm going to do?
I'm gonna take my canoe,
and get out of the swimming pool!
