There is no answer
I don't know what to say
I was driving on the freeway
When I heard the news today
At first I could not place you
or match a face to the name,
Then later on it hit me
I bowed my head in shame
It has been such a long time
since that afternoon we met
The timing was all wrong for me
And I just wanted to forget
But I have sometimes wondered
If we would ever meet again
Now I know it will not be
As your life had to end
