When the darkness closes in all around me
I'll close my eyes and watch it faster
When the light floods through the lids
I'll catch my breath and feel it harder
When the warmth breathes on my face
I'll turn to it and hug it closely
When the white clouds part you'll come into view
I'll smile and race t'ward your voice
When the day eases into night
I'll stay by your side and we'll laugh
When the darkness returns to swoop around once more
I'll go quietly and cry as I leave you, again
When the light pierces through the cloudy windows
I'll sigh and wake up to another human day
When that day finishes I'll smile
Cause I'll have another heavenly night
In my dreams, with my Angel
