Dunya News - Foreign assets: Action against politicians who failed to submit reply

Lahore High Court on Friday decided to take action against those who have not submitted their replies in a case pertaining to politicians’ foreign assets.
Justice Khalid Mehmood Khan heard the case.
During today’s proceeding, lawyers of Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Aitzaz Ahsan and Asma Jahangir appeared in the court.
Asma Jahangir told court that the politicians have been insulted due to notice through the newspaper.
She said only one notice was received and after that names were published in the newspaper.
On this, Justice Khalid Mehmood Khan suggested Asma Jahangir to submit a written reply if she has any objection on the petition.
Asma Jahangir argued that the petition is not even admissible in the court.
Meanwhile, the court has decided to take action against those politicians who have failed to submit their response.
The case hearing has been adjourned till September 17.
