Today I'm going to share with you some of the major benefits of quinoa. The plant itself originated around the Andes mountains in Peru or Bolivia which is in South America. After Cortes captured the Inca empire, which is a fascinating story in itself growing the plant was discouraged. Instead wheat and barley was used.
