NYPD Internal Affairs Officer Arrested in Stolen iPhone Sting

Sgt. Victor Leandry of the NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau was arrested December 3rd for allegedly buying an iPhone from a plainclothes officer for $15. Leandry’s lawyer argues that his client was not told the phone was stolen.
