He and his staff prep your tooth/teeth, then fabricate the final crown with a special machine there in the office while you wait, and then the final crown or bridge is placed all in one visit.
Normally you have to have your tooth/teeth prepped, then come back 2 weeks later to have the final crown placed after a dental lab has fabricated it. This means you have to take extra time off work to come back for that second appointment.
