Detroit Resident Takes to Kayaking After Severe Floods

Detroit resident Kristina S. Krause was walking through severe flooding on August 11 when she shot this video showing a man paddling a kayak. The man was passing submerged cars when he said aloud: “Can you imagine if you had to go to work like this every day?” Days later, Detroit was still dealing with the aftermath of the severe floods, with several major freeways remaining closed.
