The Kiss frontman gave an interview to SongFacts.com, saying, in reference to someone who was depressed, "then kill yourself." He also said that someone deciding to jump to their death should "have some dignity and jump." The comments have induced outrage from a variety of sources, calling Simmons insensitive, especially in the wake of Robin Williams' apparent suicide.
Speaking of Williams, the late actor will be memorialized as a character in the online game "World of Warcraft."
