Dunya News - Protesters should postpone sit-ins for flood victims: Altaf Hussain

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that all the protesting parties should call their sit-ins off for the flood victims. Altaf said that dancing and singing for getting demands fulfilled was inappropriate and not in accordance with his conscience.
In a statement issued from London, Altaf Hussain appealed before the protesting parties to postpone their sit-ins keeping in view the miseries that the flood has brought upon the flood victims. He said that if he was among the protesters, he would have immediately called off his protests in view of the devastations that the floods have brought and would immediately send teams of his workers to various flood-hit areas of the country.
Altaf Hussain said that in the situation that Pakistan is going through today, songs and dances did not seem t be appropriate. He appealed before the protesters to postpone their sit-ins for the time being and restart the sit-ins after the conditions were fine.
