J. JS Lee opens London Fashion Week

STORY: The 30th London Fashion Week kicked off on Friday (September 12) with a show by emerging label J. JS Lee at Somerset House.

Set over five days, the schedule is packed with shows and presentations from the best and brightest names in the industry.

As well as up-and-coming talent, major houses including Burberry, Tom Ford, Marchesa and Vivienne Westwood will be showing off their collections.

"We have seen incredible changes over the last three decades, particularly over the last ten years when we are seeing British businesses really go from strength to strength and that's one of the successes of London Fashion Week. We have such breadth of talent, right from emerging talent, businesses that are really solid building into global fashion brands and of course the real powerhouses such as Burberry who will be showing on Monday," said Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council.
