Ernesto Samper inaugurated as President of UNASUR

The new Secretary General of UNASUR or the Union of South American Nations, Ernesto Samper, officially took up the position at a ceremony in Caracas, where he stated that he would concentrate on social, economic and political development of the union over the next 2 years.
