Venezuelan gov't denounces stepped-up media war

The Venezuelan government has denounced an intensification of the media war as part of a strategy to create anguish and destablization within the country. During the first few days of September, media campaigns against Venezuela were activated again. International media reported on an alleged unknown illness in the central state of Aragua that had caused the death of 9 people; other media repeated the accusations of the US State Department against the Venezuelan judicial system. teleSUR
