New Zealanders Perform 100 Acts of Kindness in 100 Minutes

A group in New Zealand took the streets of Auckland recently to perform 100 random acts of kindness. The effort consisted of 100 people doing the task within 100 minutes. The effort was in honour of Random Acts of Kindness Day – recognised in New Zealand annually on September 1.

The group told Storyful, “We wanted our young people to experience first-hand the power of giving to the community and what it feels like to personally invest kindness into the people around them. It was an opportunity for them to have fun together by completing the challenge, but also see that something so simple can mean so much.” Credit: YouTube/The Movement
