People ask me on regular basis, "Why do you continue to live in Paterson?" My response is always the same. I built my roots in this great community. I started my investment business in this remarkable city and I hold Paterson very dear to my heart. I believe Paterson can become the city it used to be; safe and inspiring walks through the great falls, taking the kids to the Paterson Museum and being able to educate them on Paterson's history and treasures and many other reasons that have made me committed to this city.
My journey in Paterson began with the opportunity to invest in residential properties. This business granted me the opportunity to buy my current business in the transportation field. As a business owner, I've learned to manage budgets, close contracts, run multi-million dollar operations. Due to this business, I've become a more effective, dependable and responsible businessman. My accomplishments as a businessman will be an asset to our community.
In addition to being an entrepreneur, in 2010, I was elected as a Commissioner for the Paterson Board of Education. I am currently the Vice- President of the Paterson Board of Education, where I dedicate on an average of 20-40 hours a week to address critical issues of concerned parents and educators on a voluntary basis.
I want to be able to help Paterson from a different perspective. My conviction is that Paterson deserves an energetic and compassionate advocate that understands our community and its needs to make a positive change. Therefore, I am requesting the support of 3rd ward community to elect me as councilman for Paterson City Council in order to implement the positive transformation needed in our city.
