Close-Up View of Basking Shark Off Irish Coast

Andrew O’Riordan was off the coast of Cork in June 2014 when, not for the first time, he spotted a basking shark beneath the water’s surface. Andrew lowered his camera into the water and caught this footage of the shark swimming underneath the boat. “This one came nice and close, amazing to watch,” Andrew said of the experience.
