US officials confident in ability to contain Ebola

Hazmat crews are on the ground in Dallas decontaminating the apartment where an Ebola-infected traveler had been staying.

Despite the clean-up, officials say four people close to the traveler, Thomas Eric Duncan, who were quarantined there will be moved to another location.

Duncan's case has put the country on high alert.

The World Health Organization said Friday at least 3,400 people have died out of nearly 7,500 suspected, probable and confirmed cases.

Despite it being the worst epidemic of the virus on record, officials are confident in the ability to contain it.
