Poetic Lilly Emery - The Roaring Sea

In heavy nights the rain pours on shore
I would always kneel by my bed when the
ship would rock back and forth,

The lamps losing light and the tides are
on high I thought we was about to lose
our lives,

Dark Angel walking about with so much to
shout about in the midnight roars on shore
holding his head up high without any fright,

I never seen the Mediterranean Sea acting so
mean like life itself stood before me
Dark Angel took my hand like the captain of
the night without any light,

Stranger yet we both know we are yet close
desire that speak out to me at sea with he
that gives dark dreams.
